Saturday Trail Run
Explore the trails with varying terrain and difficulty
What to expect
We meet at 6:50 AM for a warm-up. The run starts at 7:00 AM sharp with a short warmup to the park house, followed by stretching and hill strides or stairs.
Group 1 (consistent all year): 6 one-mile loop repeats at 12-minute pace and faster.
Group 2 (new to hills): 4 one-mile loop repeats at 14-minute pace and faster.
The objective is to build strength and speed by pushing up hills. To master this training, you must be consistent and keep up with your weekly mileage (ideally 25+ miles per week).
